Our research and development team are from cross-disciplinary fields such as microbiology, pathology, horticulture, chemistry, molecular biology and formulation offer solutions from idea to finished product. The company’s exclusive R&D building on 2100 sq. ft. area accommodates facilities for microbial strain development, metabolite characterization, gene and protein profiling and pilot scale down streaming systems.

TBS has developed novel technology for formulation bio inoculants for seed treatment. The formulated product improves seed vigor and promotes uniform germination. This technology allows biologicals to be mixed with fungicides and insecticides. In addition, a product has the shelf life of 2 years.

TBS has developed seed coating mixture for Bio inputs. Using our seed coating mix allows uniform deposition of bio-inputs on the seeds. The coating solution is safe and prevents bio inputs from dusting off from the seeds.

TBS has successfully developed microbial formulation in a water-soluble form that is effective against major fungal diseases such as root rot, root wilt, seedling rot, early blight, late blight, leaf spot, stem rot, and mildew.

Conventional chelated micronutrients are available as a liquid formulation. However, these formulations are often having poor compatibility with bio inoculants. Formulation of organic chelated micronutrients with Bio inoculants are economical and can improve plant growth and yield. At Tropical Biosciences, we have developed water-soluble bio inoculants that are compatible with organic chelated micronutrients.
